Becoming a Webelos Scout is an exciting step in a Cub Scout's journey. Aimed at fourth graders, Webelos (which stands for "WE'll BE LOyal Scouts") is all about preparing for the transition into Scouts BSA.

 

Webelos Scouts take on more responsibility, explore advanced skills, and dive into adventures that build confidence, character, and leadership. As a Webelos Scout, you will work on fun and challenging activities that include outdoor skills, first aid, camping, fitness, citizenship, and more. They begin learning how to set goals, work independently, and lead others—skills that will serve them well in scouting and in life.

Along the way, Webelos Scouts earn activity badges and work toward achieving the Webelos rank. With the guidance of their leaders and the support of family and peers, Webelos grow into capable, responsible young leaders ready for the next stage of their Scouting adventure.
